This seventh form of goddess Durga is worshipped with the name ‘Kalaratri’. It is the seventh aspect of Goddess Durga which is worshiped among Navdurga. She is believed to be the most brutal goddess among navdurga. She has an extremely fearful appearance with a dark krishna (black) complexion. Her open red tongue, large red eyes and sober on hand strongly bring down devils and monsters. She is also known as “kali maa”.

Goddess Kalaratri has scattered long black hair and three round eyes. She wears a bead that shines brightly like fire of some kind of electric power.
